Additionally, participants will become experts in deploying quality and statistical tools to achieve lower defect levels and cost.

Course Methodology

Through the combination of interactive lectures, group, and individual presentations, the course will present participants with the chance to practice the skills acquired through exercises and case studies. Additionally, videos will be shown on real-life companies which implemented the Six Sigma methodology. Real-life examples and case studies will be used throughout the training to illustrate the usage of various tools.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Lead and manage Six Sigma teams
• Improve processes using the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) Six Sigma methodology (variation removal) and Lean approach (waste removal) 
• Analyze how Six Sigma concepts relate to the overall business mission and objectives of a unit or an organization.
• Collect and analyze data appropriately using various tools in Minitab
• Apply advanced tools used in a Six Sigma project

Note1: Your Six Sigma Black Belt will include pre-class work/reading, and self-study assignments to reinforce what you have learned.

Note 2: Included in the course: A rich workbook that contains the slides and material, +40 useful Six Sigma templates.

Note 3:  Participants who attend all sessions will be awarded a Glomac certificate of completion after the training. Certification option (included in the fees) can be obtained by submitting an approved Six Sigma project within 6 months of the training completion. Two hours of free coaching (by email) with an experienced Six Sigma Master Black Belt trainer for your project will be provided.
